Pilar Diez Rodriguez is an architect. She conducts her research on issues of architectural restoration and traditional building systems with clay applied to contemporary architecture. In 2016 she won, along with Izaskun Villena Marcos, IX Premios de Arquitectura y Urbanismo de Castilla y Leon in the category “Otros campos de actividad de los arquitectos”. She has been Director of the Unidad de Promocion yDesarrollo of the province of Palencia and she is president of the Order of Architects of Leon (COAL) section of Palencia. He founded the SMART-LOCAL TIERRA Platform and the Sustainable Construction Laboratories.
